For a Name's Sake
A friend of mine alerted me to this gaffe in ST Life! today:
The band, of course, is Oasis, but their bassist is NOT Erasure's Andy Bell. Their bassist is the guitarist formerly from Ride.
I told my friend that the idea of Erasure's vocalist playing bass with Oasis is ridiculous.
He said: "Actually, the idea of Ride's guitarist playing bass with Oasis is ALSO ridiculous".
The current line-up includes rhythm guitarist Gem Archer, bassist Andy Bell (former frontman of British band Erasure) and drummer Zak Starkey.
